Villa Tempera is located on the island of Vis, Croatia, in the beautiful Adriatic Sea. The Villa is on the Adriatic between the town of Vis and the Milna Bay (southeast of the town of Vis, 9 km - 10 min by car). Vis town is about an hour and 20 minutes from Split by Catamaran.

ARRIVING TO CROATIA BY AIR
International flights go to nearest Split airport (code: SPU) on the mainland with frequent connecting flights from Zagreb (code: ZAG), Dubrovnik (code: DBV) and Zadar (code: ZAD) as well as international cities. You can take a taxi (ca. 30 min drive) or regular airport bus shuttle service to take you from the Split Airport to the ferry port located in the Old Town center.
ARRIVING TO CROATIA BY CAR
If traveling by car you will be pleasantly surprised with hundreds of kilometers of new highways that are recently opened in Croatia. To plan your journey on-line or get the newest information on the road conditions, check live web camera streams from main border crossings, highway entrance points or Split ferry port on web pages of Croatian automobile club. In making your route you should always end your journey in Split, from where you can take either a ferry or catamaran to Vis.
ARRIVING TO VIS
FERRY: Vis is about two hours from Split via ‘Jadrolinija’ Ferry. The ferry accommodates passengers and vehicles. The tickets are bought online in advance or before boarding in the ferry port.
CATAMARAN: Catamaran takes about an hour and 20 minutes from Split port to Vis island. The catamaran accommodates passengers and the tickets are bought online in advance or before boarding in the port.
PRIVATE BOAT TRANSFER: Alternatively, private boat transfer can be arranged from the Split harbour or directly from the Split Airport.
ARRIVING TO VILLA TEMPERA
Villa Tempera is located 9 km (10 min by car) from the Vis ferry port near the Milna bay and private transfer can be arranged from the port to the Villa. As an alternative, you could take a rent-a-car directly in the Vis ferry port and all the information and directions to Villa will be provided to you.
AROUND THE ISLAND VIS
If you would like to explore the secret beauties of the Island of Vis by car, it is recommended to hire one with the local tourist agency in Vis Town. Scooters and mountain bikes can be hired on the island fromthe tourist agencies in Vis or Komiza. They also arrange daily boat excursions.
